Mrs. Terri Hughes-Harrison is a stage and screen play write, published Author, Actress, Producer and Director. She is the Writer/Producer of the web series “Just Us” and  the pilot episode of the web series“GunShots”. She is the published author of her memoir “Taming the Tongue” and she's written several plays and screenplays, such as “The Gospel Youth”, “The Congregation”, “Say Yes”, “You in I”, "Rise Up" and many more. Some of these titles were co-written with her talented husband/Director Anthony Harrison. Terri gained her experience in Theater and television through her mother, the late Carole J. Hughes. Terri’s mother was a professional actress and often made Terri and her twin brother the stars of all her student films and eventually had Terri in several national commercials. Terri followed her mother, assisting behind the scenes for multiple traveling theater productions and took on several small parts and extra work for film and television during her time in New York City which includes shows like Law&Order and the film "Boomerang". Terri played the lead role in the play “Between me and God” and had a supporting role in the film Coach Carter’s “The Next Big Thing”. Terri is also a dynamic public speaker bringing her Corporate training background and experience in the performing arts to motivate and inspire others in an intriguing and entertaining way, encouraging her listeners to pursue God and their dreams in that order.

 

Terri has never been a seeker of fame; she only desires to do what she loves. She is the wife of Anthony Harrison and the mother of 3 beautiful girls, Neena-Simone, Trinity and Amber. She only hopes that her children will seek to do what they love as well, understanding that fame is overrated. The fulfillment is in doing it not who knows.
